Using the arts to create change depends on skilled and talented people. Artworks Creative Communities supports the professional development of artists and creative practitioners and creates a gateway to opportunities in the creative and cultural sector for people of all ages. Our established and celebrated training programmes such as Ignite and C3: Creative Communities Course are helping individuals to explore their creative potential and effect change in their own communities.
Our C3 course now incorporates the nationally recognised PTLLS qualification (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector) - meaning that aspiring community artists can now gain this sought after qualification through a course tailored to the creative context in which they work.
Artworks values the benefits of working in partnership, ensuring that our programmes reach as widely as possible, and that the expertise built up by ourselves and our partners can be used to develop best practice models in community and professional development.
