Previous training developed and delivered by Artworks includes:
- C3: Creative Communities Course (PTLLS)
The PTLLS course offers an exciting personal and professional development qualification which can start you on the pathway to qualified teacher status. PTLLS is increasingly required as a standard for teaching and delivering workshops by funding bodies and agencies. The Creative Communities Course (PTLLS) is designed for learners who are or wish to be community artists, and the teaching is put into this context. The course is delivered over 30 hours and you will need to find at least 30 hours of private study time to complete assessments.Artworks aims to run these courses twice a year as part of our creative development programme for artists and creative practitioners.

Creative Pathways
The gateway to arts careers in Bradford. A partnership scheme with Bradford Council and leading arts and culture organisations in Bradford. This scheme worked with people looking for employment in the arts by developing their professional practice through seminars, training and work placements. With the aim to secure long-term paid placements within the local arts sector.

Bradford Community Learning Champions
Artworks Creative Communities and Trescom, working in partnership to recruit Community Learning Champions for Bradford. This project was part of the national Learning Revolution initiative.

C3: Creative Communities Course
This OCN accredited course is designed to give the participant a thorough grounding in the principles and practicalities of running successful community sessions – from initial planning to final delivery. Participants have the opportunity to explore and develop their own strengths and skills and realise what they personally want to achieve as a community artist. A further C3 programme is currently being developed to run mid-2011.

Ignite Bitesized
The Bitesized version of Ignite is aimed at organisations who have specific needs which they are looking to creatively address, be it with staff or service user, this training is tailored specifically for the clients needs.

Creative Support
A free professional development programme for emerging and established artists and creative sector practitioners through a series of self-development sessions, seminars and mentoring with an established practitioner from the creative sector. This programme ran for 2 consecutive years, had funding from Yorkshire Forward, WY AtoE, ESF and Bradford Council, the second year was run in partnership with Keighley Arts Factory.

Artist Associates Training
Artworks works with artists who are trained to the highest standard in all aspects of delivering arts projects with varying communities and organisations, and ensuring compliance with grant and commission client data requirements. There are now 20 Artist Associates who have been inducted into Artworks policies and procedures and undertaken peer-reviewed workshop programmes with us. We have now realised that we need to greatly expand our database of artists because of the increase of the breadth of projects we are delivering. We aim to be a leading provider of CPD for creative professionals and increase the number of artist associates that we work with.

Ignite
A long-running creative training programme for people who wish to use creativity in their work in the community

Rise
A year-long professional development programme working with people from the community looking to establish themselves as professional community artists. This programme was funded by the ESF and ran for 2 consecutive years with 62 people completing this course.
